About the course
What you will learn: 1. Understand what a complex system is and how it applies to patients with MSK conditions. 2. Understand how issues with the research base and application of this research to practice happen, and how to approach this differently to become more truly 'evidence-informed'. 3. Introduction to dispositionalist causation, and the importance of context within a complex system. 4. How to bring all of these concepts together to improve clinical reasoning using case studies, and possibly redefine what we mean by 'success'.

Delivered by Jeff Morton Advanced Physiotherapy Practitioner
Jeff has worked as an Advanced Physiotherapy Practitioner in the NHS for a number of years and has roles in complex rehabilitation, triage clinics and requesting investigations alongside working with orthopaedic colleagues. He is the creator of the online and in-person course 'The Force Awakens: How to REALLY use biomechanics in clinical practice' and is co-host of The Physio Pulse Podcast. Having found understanding the basics of complex systems invaluable to his own clinical reasoning, his motivation for delivering this webinar is to help breakdown this area of science to make it directly applicable to clinicians within MSK rehab.
